Hmm..Yeah, I know there are a million sub forums. I had originally meant for this to be more rpg than anything, and I forgot that I don't have an invision board, (invision will let you do forums inside forums, and more than just one page. it's a LOT better) since I'm dead broke at the moment and any money I do get goes into my fund for England next year.

So I will do something about those boards, when I get the time.

But about giving you the admin position..? I'm not entirely sure I should.

If we get some more members, I might be willing to spring for the cost of a better board. I'll post my concepts for te RPG in a couple hours. (3 or so) Like I said in another post, work calls, and I must answer.

actually, I do need a little bit of help with some things.

For instance, the rank image of the lorien leaf is much too large. If you find anything smaller that still suits the theme, let me know.

And, if you do promise not to be an ass, then I will make you a Global Mod, for now.

Actually, I know some people who might be able to help you. I know I keep posting this link everywhere, but hey. Go with what works, right? Some of the artists at this site do some amazing things. Register, go to the art forum and start a thread with the specs for the image you want. (file size, x pixels by x pixels, mabey describe a theme or something) and chances are they can help you. I also know a rather noobish guy named Toddy who's starting to get good with Photoshop. When ge gets on I'll linkify him and see if he can come up with anything.

I actually like the leaf though. The banner's got an elegant simplicity that appeals to me.

No, I like that, if it was any more complicated, the background and the banner combined would be an eyesore.

It's the little image under the names that I speak of. It's too large, and doesn't have a transparent background.

Size isn't that hard to change, though sometimes it does drastically reduce the image quality.

But I have no programs that I could use to do the transparent background, and if I were to download any free programs now, my computer would run slower than molasses.

sorry to interrupt your conversation, guys , but can i squeeze something in for seatbelt? i've read what you did to the admin guy at the other forum. you were kinda harsh though but then, i'm new and i don't know the whole story. so i don't judge. i was just wondering why? the place seemed to be nice. were you that combative when you first posted there? i maybe just a guest but really i'm just a little bit disturbed (or maybe just poking my nose into someone else's business. you can say that.) i don't know why. i'm sorry.

Because it was fun. That answers why. I found it very amusing ..and somewhat theraputic, to tell stupid people they were being stupid. First time I've done it en masse though. That place seemed to be a focal point for both stupid people and my negative energies. Combine stupid people and my focused negative energies and you get..well. You get that.

I'm going to say this though, don't be so apologetic. You have questions to ask, and you shouldnt say you're sorry every 2 or 3 sentences just because you want to know. If you're that sorry then just don't ask.

I'm no one to tell people how they should and shouldn't behave. I'm only rude to those who are rude to me first, but then again, I piss people off without trying. It just...happens.

I don't think Aragorn is always a lousy admin, or that he makes nothing but wrong decisions, but I've had to deal with power hungry middle schoolers before, and well, the last one I dealt with was very nasty with me, like he felt threatened, or something, and he banned me without any good reason.

It's no skin off my teeth, but if I ever get really defensive, that's why.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion, though. If Aragorn felt that Seatbelt's were too strong, so be it. He's banned, end of story. Negative energy and all that jazz.

Yeah. I got banned. I know why I got banned. I was offensive, arrogant and disrespectful. It was unprovoked as well. If I'd have done that at any of my usual hangouts (except one. It's practically run by long time 'net friends of mine. ) I would have been banned just the same. I'm not excusing what I did. However, neither am I apologising.

I wonder why I haven't been banned yet. I mean, I'm not as overly disrespectful as you were, but I'm not exactly grovelling at his feet, either. I keep my own opinions, whether he agrees or not. No. It stoped being fun when Hobbit Feet started -almost- talking smack back. Takes all the fun out of being a smart-ass when someone does it back. By that time I'd burned to many bridges to continue posting, even as a guest. So I cleared it from favorites/history and forgot the link.
