I love this movie! I was very impressed when what started out as a very small low budget film made it big in Hollywood! Its really cool how Posh and Becks agreed to appear in in too. The indian girl that was in it was an awesome actress! The only thing that bothered me is the nightclub scene when Keira walkes away, you can almost see right through her, she is SO skinny! It was kinda disturbing to look at! My favorite part of the movie had to be uh, the really hot coach !(Joe, I think?) His eyes are AMAZING!! my sister is obsessed with him. she paused the movie on a closeup of him and left it there the entire night.
I advise everyone who hasn't seen it to rent it!

Yeah, I luv Bend It Like Beckham too ;D When was it released in the US? Coz I saw it in March 2002 but it seems to have only been released oer there earlier this year (I think - dunno). But yeah, it's such a cool film! And I was surprised last when I was flicking through the channels and the new series of ER was on Channel 4, and the girl who plays Jess in BilB (*lol* that looks so weird!) is a nurse in it!!!

actually, I really want to see this movie, and haven't.
Yeah, and the nurse you were talking about is a med student. I can't spell her character's name, it's either Nila or Neela, but her name is Parminder Nagra. lol.
E.R. is one of my favorite shows, and I noticed that she was in the movie the same way you noticed she was in E.R., completely on accident, so now I want to see it.
