General Rules and Guidelines

Hiya. I just wanted to post a few rules, so as to attempt to keep order once there are members. lol

First, please have fun, and don't be pessimistic all the time, it depresses people.

Second, playful teasing/namecalling is ok, but don't let it get out of hand. If I have to erase too many posts, I will ban you and point you to this thread if you protest.

Thirdly, avoid harsh language. The occasional cuss word I won't lose it over, but excessive use of any of these words will result first in a warning and then in banishment. People tend to get offended, myself included.

Uhm..that's all I can come up with right now, the rest I'll probably add later, as uhm, board amendments and such.

oh, also, I put little lotr sprites up all over the place and figured I might as well explain them now.

First off, if there are new posts in a topic or forum, Frodo will be up.



Second, you will see Sam if there are no new posts.



You will see Pippin if a thread is pinned. (such as this one)



If a thread is locked, you will see Legolas, facing the side with his bow.



Normal threads feature Aragorn.



Hot topics with new posts have Arwen.



Hot topics with no new posts have Boromir.



Pinned topics that are locked have Merry.



I'm going to find buttons for the home/calender/members/etc, but they'll have words too, so I won't have to explain and you won't have to memorize. These you can live with, if I can.
